Current Openings:
Title: Private Lesson Instructor -- Accepting Applications
Responsibilities: Provide weekly lessons in a private setting, ranging from early beginner to late advance students. Organization of semester student recitals, and performance at semester faculty recitals required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to commit to a weekly schedule. Participate in school-wide events and provide input in the growth and expansion of CLC mission is a must.
Education and Experience: B.A. or higher in Music, Music Education, or similar field. Minimum of 1 full year of teaching experience in a group or private setting. Experience preparing students for ABRSM, regional and national competitions is a plus.

Title: Summer Enrichment GROUP Instructor -- Accepting Applications until March
Responsibilities: Provide summer enrichment classes in a group setting for elementary aged students at select SBISD and HISD schools.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to commit to a 4-day enrichment class (M-Th) between June 6-30, 2022. Strong classroom management skills and ability to lead group instruction is a must. Candidate must undergo state fingerprinting, federal background check, and district approval before start date.
Education and Experience: B.A. in Education, or similar field. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a group setting, preferably with elementary aged students.
Position Start Date: June, 2023. Up 16 instructor positions open.
Title: Beginner GROUP Instructor -- Accepting Applications
Responsibilities: Provide weekly lessons in a group setting, specifically for young beginners. Detailed weekly lesson plans and organization of semester student recitals required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to commit to a weekly schedule. Strong classroom management skills and ability to lead group instruction is a must. Willingness to participate in school-wide events and provide input in the growth and expansion of CLC mission. Title: Grants Editor -- Interviewing
Responsibilities: Research, prepare, and edit grant proposals to improve readability -- verifying facts, dates, statistics, and reference sources. Confer with management on requirements and policy to ensure compliance. Availability to attend required workshops and meetings held by grant committees.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong written communication and computer skills. Ability to demonstrate thoroughness, timeliness, independent research, and high productivity. Willingness to participate in school-wide events and provide input in the growth and expansion of CLC mission.
Education and Experience: B.A. in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or similar field. Industry experience in technical writing, grant writing, or journalism.
Position Start Date: Summer, 2023
Title: Office Administrator -- Position Filled
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of CLC program scheduling and billing. Maintain communications between parents and instructors. Oversee social media and multimedia promotions. Reports to administrative director and executive director.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in computer use, especially communication tools and data management software. Must be detail-oriented and meet deadlines quickly. Bilingual English, Spanish or Chinese speaker is a plus.
Education and Experience: Bachelor degree in Communications, Business, or related field. Minimum of 1 year working experience in administrative support, marketing, or community engagement.

Title: Music Therapist -- Accepting Applications
Responsibilities: Provide weekly group and private lessons for students within Special Needs department. Organize and collaborate with other department supervisors to provide monthly activities and events.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Expertise in the field of Special Needs Education. Ability to work with students diagnosed with special needs such as autism, ADHD, hearing and visual impairment, and other behavioral and physiological disorders. Willingness to participate in school-wide events and provide input in the growth and expansion of the CLC mission.
Education and Experience: B.A. in Music Education, Music Therapy, Special Needs Education, or similar field. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a group or private setting. Must have experience working with Special needs students.
