Through guided activities, students will explore lyrics, rhyme, rhythm, and melody while learning how to turn creative ideas into musical material.

Hannah Evans is a composer, songwriter, arranger, and audio professional with a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University. Her experience includes composing and conducting an original hour-long oratorio for choir and orchestra, as well as professional work in audio editing, recording, sound design, and mixing with BYU Broadcasting.
She brings a creative and practical approach to songwriting, helping students explore how lyrics, melody, rhythm, and musical ideas can come together to form an original song.
